Posted by USAgentfan i like the book, but its not the story that we should have been reading. Dont forget that this series was originally intended to be an ongoing, and had been written as such. then the word came down from on high that it was only going to be a mini series, and by the authors own admission he had to do some series editing and re-writing, and in the end presented us with a story that wasnt the one he really wanted to give us - which may account for some of the decompression.
