I don't care whether it was Mailman Mike's fault or Xorn's. The fact is Mailman Mike shouldn't be rewarded/redeemed for killing most of Alpha Flight by giving him the powerful e-m suit and having him be the symbolic hero of Canada's premiere superteam. This is a deal-breaker for me. --Previous Message--
: Ah, but when the day closes, Hudson built the
: suit, trained people to use it, wore it
: himself at Logan's suggestion, is a weapons
: engineer, is quite intelligent, and is
: Mailman has no technological knowledge, no
: design knowledge, is a mailman, no training,
: never trained others, and is American.
: Kind of like having an art teacher be taken
: over by nanites created by Ultron, he kills
: most of the Mighty Avengers including Stark,
: the nanites are destroyed and the art
: teacher is taken into SHIELD custody. Then
: later, he's offered a chance to prove he's
: not responsible for what happened, no hard
: feelings, and he's given the latest Iron Man
: suit to wear. He joins Mighty Avengers.
: I doubt Mr. Oeming will make Guardian into a
: repentant Mailman; some people think Wild
: Chiild takes the role in OF #2 and Omega
: gets its name from him. He was Weapon Omega
: for a while. But for all of us, it's still
: pure speculation and guesswork.
: CW:Initiative will remove some of the
: guesswork and OF #1 and #2 the rest.
