Omega Flight is n the Alphaverse, no need to change anything. After all, Omega Flight is set in the Alphaverse and is still Alpha Flight but not so named. I find it funny that people think Guardian can't/won't be Mac Hudson, even though it obviously is and will be. Plus people wonder if it's Talisman. Welll duh, who else? If it's Aurora where did the mystic powers come from? If it's Snowbird where's her headress? If it's not Talisman. Elizabeth, why the tiara? The only character of the five we've seen that COULD be unknown is Spider-Woman. Sure, it's pretty much a cinch to be Arachne but it may not be. Guardian, Mac Hudson; Elizabeth Twoyoungmen, Talisman; US Agent, John Walker; Beta Ray Bill. Think about it: Oeming and Kolins have never said any new characters would be part of OF. Never even hinted at it. A character from AF (Guardian), a character with strong ties to AF but not a former member (Talisman). A jerk (US Agent). Beta Ray Bill. And a Bug-Woman (can we be sure it's a spider). No new characters. Another guy, even Wild Child, in the Guardian role would be a new character. Kolins said he's redesigning some outfits, not creating designs for new characters. Just like Excalibur, it'll use characters from the team (2 in our case, maybe 3 soon after launch) and some other characters arond the universe. Thankfully, no Sabretooth or Juggernaut, no Punisher or Ms. Marvel, no She-Hulk or Xavier. I can stomach US Agent and the other two outsiders on Omega Flight. After all, who knows how mny AFers survived NA #16, how many can walk even, how many have all their faculties. Several former Flight members are already stated as depowered. ONly about 5 aren't that could be in AF and two of them would be about 15 now in Marvel time. Diamond Lil, Box, the Twins, none seem capable of being heroes from what we've seen of them lately. They and Persuasion would make better Omega Flight villains. Looking forward to the February-March release! Alpha Flight message board!
