Posted by Guy Best bet is ARACHNE (Julia Carpenter) as she was voted the most popular character in the WestCost Avengers line up, has a history with USAGENT and was generally liked.

It has to be Arachne (Julia Carpenter) for the following reasons;
Spider-Woman (Jessica Drew) is totally Bendis' baby so he'll stay with her plus he loves her classic costume so he would not change it.
ARANA, the figure is clearly to mature to be our spider teen girl. However, one year on & she could have matured plus they have been talking about making ARANA more popular. One of the key areas in this idea was changing her costume/look as the majority disliked it.
Mattie Franklin, forget it she was burnt out and disliked so much that it would be sales suicide to include her in OMEGE FLIGHT.
if it is Julia what was wrong with the old costume? I love the white boots and gloves and when it was drawn correct wow! it was a fantastic design & has been my favourite spider costume.
Perhaps with the name change to Arachne they thought they should give her a new image too?
