I think the first Hellcat mini was simply imcrediable! If Patsy is written right she can be a truly down and dirty hero. Heres hoping that the writer chooses to at least wrtite her smart,as Patsy isnt near a cornball as the Marvel Univeres sees her. we have a girl who ran with the Avengers on a whim and became a hero. Then she took off to space enhanced her mental abilites and returned to join the Defenders instead. With them she faced not only second rate thugs but heavey htters like Dr. Doom,Satan,The Living Tribunal,Salems 7,The Five Fingered Hand,Dracula,Werewolf By Night,The Presence, Namor and more. Pastey even married the son of hell itself. I mean she only took a bad turn when the writers of the Hellstorm book took her to a place where she couldnt shouldn't recover. Patsy killed herself and was brought to the arena of lost sould to fight for all eternity for her sin. There she learned to fight and hone her natural mystic abilties. When the Thunderbolts saved her from that hell Patsy took back her life with a vengance. Patsy look set to return to the Avengers. Patsy had an AWESOME Mini seies where she got dark and dangerous a new costume and a new attitude to beat. No more the "Cheese and Crackers girl" Patsy was truly a hero in her own right. But when the Defenders regrouped she was reverted back togher old sterotype and I was a little saddened. What was all the resurection for if not to change her? Now she has a shot again. I hope Marvel dosen't blow it this time! Her MCP apperance was awlful to say the least! Not the Patsy I liked. I have hope for this new series!
