Actually, that unpublished story was originally supposed to be published as #4, but we got that Man-Bull story in its place. And then they were going to publish it as #5, but alas....
I agree about getting used to the new look. Too bad the issue didn't make it to the stands, followed by more issues. But I treasure the four issues (plus MTU #8 with Spidey and the Cat versus Man-Killer) that I do have.

: Attok, followed that link and saw that
: unpublished page from Cat #5. Wild! Ramona
: Frandon is an accomplished artist, but that
: "new" Cat costume would have taken
: some getting used to. The mask looks like
: one of those I used to buy at a Woolworth's
: (dime store) for halloween; it just covers
: the face. Does it snap on with a
: rubberband? Also, it looks like Ramona
: stole a page from Batman and Superman with
: that whole "underwear on the
: outside" look. Who know's, maybe we
: would have grown to like. We'll never know.

: Has anyone read THE CLAWS OF THE CAT
: four-issue series? I own all four issues,
: and they are very treasured by me. She took
: on the Owl, Commander Kraken and the
: Man-Bull in some really nice stories. There
: was actually an unpublished issue, drawn by
: Ramona Fradon, where the Cat (Greer Nelson)
: took on the Witch, who wanted to possess the
: Cat's body as her own. The Cat even got an
: all-new Fradon-designed costume, a variation
: of the original. One of the unpublished
: pages can be found right here (click the
