Car sat with dead battery for a while, now won't start

My big 928 battery finally died on me, the car sat a period of two weeks or less, new battery installed, and the car WANTED to start but wouldn't. Very light starter fluid (light fumes only) shows the car wants to run, ignition is good, but fuel supply is not sustained. Sounds like the fuel pump relay? Regards, P
