yes, tone is a wonderful and powerful thing...on things made purposely to make tone.. a t-belt is made to stop thousands of dollars of metal things from colliding and wrecking each other. I can get 7 out of 10 just by feel.. but in the end wouldn't you feel better when your motor was a 6k rpm if it was done with a tool One my best friends owns Dpergo Custom guitars..he still wanted his belt tensioned with a tool. Just because something CAN be done , doesn't mean it SHOULD be done. (but hey, I'm pretty tone deaf, so ...)
