It's not that tuff of a job. When I did mine, I drained as much gas as I could by removing the hose near the pump. You'll have to have the rear end up pretty high due to the length of the filler neck. Once the straps on the bottom of the tank were removed, it was just a matter of removing the clamps on the hoses and dropping the tank.
There was a vent hose that snakes through the rear bumper area that was a PITA.
Recommend you look at a picture of the tank on 928 Intl or e-bay or something so you can see where all the hoses connect.
Most of the fuel hoses I bought at Autozone, but I did buy a new filler hose connector (the one that connects the tank to the filler) from one of the Big-3
