I recently replaced a front right pad, the fontal pad that is also heating up now. I used a C clamp to push in the cylinder, did the install, didn't notice any symptoms right off. I don't know what else to do other than take the calipers apart and put em back together. Never actually pulled one fully apart, just replaced the pads. Maybe I'll do the other one on the left front and see if it fixes itself, maybe there is an in line brake diverter that isolates one diagonal circuit to another, had that on an older car from UK.
