This sounds too much like when I was in the market for my S4. Every car was a total piece of shit that I looked at- bad paint, knocking engines, worn interior, etc. All of the sellers said "it's a nice car" or something similar. Four years later, I found my 87 S4 and it was unbelievable how clean it was! Have patience.
