I have LED replacements for front and rear turn signals and the side markers. For the turn signals and the rear side marker, you need to add a resistor that fools the relay or bulb monitoring system into believing that you have a regular bulb installed. Same would be true, if you wanted to replace the tail light bulbs with LEDs.
It's not a direct plug-and-play solution; maybe some day they'll offer a type of LED that has the resistor built-in. Until then, the bulb monitoring system makes it a bit harder but not impossible to convert.
