The rectangular style has a access hole under the mirror.
this is where it locks and unlock the mirror from the mirror motor . use a small straight pick or a small screwdriver to move the lock to the left or the right pending if you want to release it or or install mirror .
The whole mirror assembly is he on with Allen screws
