Purchase a wide, stiff scraper from Home Depot; the kind with an almost knife like edge, and use a hammer to tap the strip away from the roof of the car by placing the blade inside the gutter with the blade pointing away from the roof. It is quite easy that way. By placing the edge of the scraper on the inner edge of the gutter strip, you are putting all of the force on the part of it that is actually holding it onto the seam of the gutter. The strips have some sort of glue holding them on. I seem to recall that on one of them, I had to tap on the edge of the strip from inside the door opening because it was really stuck.
