This sounds electrical all the way. It sounds as if it is load sensitive, which can be plugs, wires, cap/rotor. Don't rule out coils and ignition modules, as these are also load-dependent items. Secondary voltage requirement increases as cylinder pressure increases, which is why it will do it when accelerating. Primary current also increases under load which is why a coil and/or ignitor can be the blame for this condition as many Ford owners found out in the late 80s into the mid 90s.
Don't waste you money on Nology snake-oil wires or other such garbage. Also, platinum, Split-Fire MSD and other gimmick plugs do nothing for you. I use a 99 cent Bosch plug in my supercharged S4 and they work fine (note: I use AC R42XLS plugs in my Shelby Charger that makes 28PSI boost, so AC plugs aren't as cheap as you think! I haven't found a better plug at that boost level yet).
