I'll try some other spark plugs and check the caps. It's strange as the condition can be mild or so bad that I have to feather the gas just to increase my speed to get to 50 miles an hour. Once driving at a constant speed it's OK. I've attached a fuel pressure gauge and once I have a problem at idle will pull over to check it. Regards, David

Also, when checking with a vaccum gauge, at idle it's 18 inches when I hit the throttle it goes to 0, I think this is normal but I'm not sure.
Could the coils be going bad? How are they checked?
