This may seem stupid but has it done it for more than one tank of gas? The reformulated gas is terrible. It deteriates very fast and if the percentage of ethanol is a bit to high it may run bad too. They put about 10% ethanol in right now. I was told that at 15% a normal motor won't even run. I know several people that have had "bad gas" problems ever since the new gas came out. My wifes Jetta barely ran for a tank of gas. It acted like the choke was stuck on but there was no dark smoke. We put new gas in and it ran great.
