This ignition system is fairly simple with no computer involved. Shouldn't be hard to diagnose. I'd start with the green wire from disributor to silver circuit box. Unplug, clean and re-plug both ends or just get a new one. Next check the main wire from coil to the cap. Then I'd check for voltage to the coil and resistance across it. (Numbers in manual)
