ignition timing on an '81 928 US-spec

Does anyone know what the ignition timing values are on the '81 us-spec L-jetronic? I remember seeing a OT & a 10d on the harmonic, but don't recall seeing any other numbers. I *think* I read in the manuals that it was 27d @ 3500 w/o vacuum to the distributor, but there's no 27d mark on the harmonic. Car seems to idle best at 10d mark on the harmonic. Help?? Wally?
