I have a 1979 5 speed. My guy is having a hard time getting part #928-302-281-03 to slide over all the gears to shift into "r" also he's saring part number # 928-302-163-00 needle cage is the wrong size. now i'm pretty sure the needle cage should be heated up then pressed on. the thrust washer not fitting is what i dont understand. are there different size from 79-82. Can anyone help
