Be careful - the window must be securely supported, or you can be injured when it falls on your hands! There are a LOT of WYAITs (While You Are In There items) when you do this. For example, you can put nylon wire ties around the nylon window guide to reduce rattles, or you can replace them for about $38. You can recover the felt guides at the window sill, or you can replace them for $33.60 each. It is a good time to disassemble, clean and lubricate the window motor and gearbox. Repair or replace the plastic door liner. Check and clean all wires and connections. Repair any breaks in the plastic parts that attach the inner door parts.
