I have a Berg Werks kickdown componenet installed in my S4. It's great because the upshift and downshift actions are adjustable and don't require the added movement of flicking a switch. What I was referring to was similar to the shift kits installed in GM Turbo 350 and 400 auot transmissions. I had a Corvette (450 HP) with this setup and under WOT it chirped the tires in second and third gear.
