If you do a search for "powder coated" or "intake finish", or the like on forums.rennlist.com's 928 message board, you'll find plenty of ideas. I have not had mine refinished, as it's not necessary at this point, but added some lettering to spruce things up. Click here for pictures. The lettering is available in a variety of colors; I stock them in the red/black shown, all black, and in chrome.

People have done all kinds of different things to their cam covers and intake manifold. We've seen the pieces polished, painted, and powdercoated, with the letters colored or the add-on letters I offer in my store.
