looking for a song by a band that is driving me insane!!!!

Im looking for the name of a song and the name of the band that sings it. The only thing I remeber of the song is that there is a man and a woman singing. They are both confessing that they cheated on each other while separted. The one line in the song I remember is "while you were away, I was lonely too". This song came out around the time of tears for fears and spandou ballet, thompson twins shit like that. PLEASE HELP ME IM GOING INSANE!!!!!!!!!
