Crossing the Border Song?

HI,
Trying to track down a track and artist, from very little information.
The theme of the song is about the border patrol between US & Mexico. I recall that at the end of the song the Patrol officer turns a blind eye to woman with a child.
If its any help, I recall it sounded like Hazard county.
