I Was the pilot of the crew in which the waist gunner (and later, togeleer) Sid Erickson was assigned. I visited Sid in Minnesota on the occasion of his golden anniversary.I met some of Sids family while in Minnesota but I dont remember which ones. Dear Ken,
While visiting the web page,took a chance to see if I could find any information,came across the response page & noticed this.My name is Dean Erickson & I am Sid's oldest boy,I do remember when you came out for my folks anniv,dad talked alot about getting together with his flight crew & there wives at the reunions he went to,we had planned to go together to the reunion in Savannah,till dad passed away,never got the chance to meet you & his crew,like many of you dad talked very little about his experience,but gave me bits & pieces to get me interested,have been searching web sites every since.Will write again
