Lt. Phillip H. Birong 457th BG, 751st BS, Mission 46

I was pleased to find your web site and some information on the mission my grandfather flew in 19 May, 1944. He was the Pilot on "Liberty Run" and was shot down on Mission No. 46. If anyone could help me find more detail it would be appreciated. (This message posted initially in the Guestbook, I moved it over to the Message Board - A. Morton)
