Found several pages of the Missing Air Crew Reports for this crew. Apparently, they landed very close to a German ammunition depot and gunfire was reported as they landed. According to these reports, four of these crew members eventually escaped (Blackwell, Baskette, Nabozny and McCall). While the other five ended up as POW's.
