Champe Dobler

I am the Grand son of Champe Dobler. Champe passed away over a year ago now and I was going through his belongings hopping to find out more about his service in WW II. I know he served in the 457th becuase he talked to me about it and showed me his video of his trip back to the airstrip in Europe. But I have no idea what the names of the planes he flew in or even what squadron he was in. If any one has any records or knowledge of Champe Dobler or any suggestions on where to look for that inforamtion, I would appreciate it. My son and I have been searching for information on him. Thank you
