By chance is this a photograph from the rescue mission flown in December 1947? I am doing some research on the misson as my father was a member of the crew of the C-82 that flew supplies in and also towed the glider. I would welcome contact from anyone with information about the rescue mission or places I can look for additional information. Thanks
