Posted by Alan Morton My immediate concern is ... trying to determine how familiar you are with this web site and/or are you just wishing to "cut to the chase" and try to collect any and all photos and/or stories about your Grandfather's WWII combat experiences with the 457th Bomb Group. You are very fortunate that your grandfather was attached to 457th BG, 749th Bomb Squadron. Why? Because of the comprehensive content of specific data of an event(s) that happened sixty-five years ago that is compiled herein. So the question is ... what do you already know, that you've gleaned from researching this web site or are you starting from scratch knowing only 2% about the aforementioned issue(s)?
