Many thanks for this information.
My father, Lt. Rupert L. Phipps, was a navigator-bombardier with the 749th squadron of the 457th. I'm thinking about coming to the 2007 reunion in Pensacola in hopes of meeting someone who knew my father. I've also been planning to go to England and visit Glatton, but now will include the 2008 reunion in those plans.
I'm so happy to have discovered this message board!
