just as stated by noah and all others here, i am a huge/loyal fan of the 311. in response to the album blowing.......... i compare it to transistor too. give the guys some room to experiment, you know? at first i was bummed, however, it's all a frame of refrence. imagine being on a white beach, laying in a hammock, with an ocean in front of you. BOOM! that's what Don't Tread does for me. very cool to mellow out with after a terrible day, great tunes for summer parties in the backyard coupled with umbrella drinks. there it is. yet, i also long for a roller-coaster album to come out soon that just kicks our ass, like the live shows!!
