Ed Hopkins Memorial Service

Here are some pictures I took during Ed's memorial service. Swanson Hall was packed and overflowing with people. These are posted for the people who could not attend and would like to see part of the service.
Ed's ashes were in the prop spinner (I believe it was a B-17 spinner).
Austin W. and others spoke during the ceremony about Ed and everyone shared a few laughs and stories.
A bugler was standing by at the flag pole to play Taps.
The Legion firing squad gave him a 21 gun salute.
The C-47 was fired up in preparation for the dusting of some of Ed's ashes across the airfield.
Ed is dusted across the airfield.
The C-47 was parked near Swanson Hall and many people toured the aircraft.
You can see here just how many cars were parked for the Ceremony.
Inside the hall was a display of pictures of Ed and his family and friends through the years of his life.
