Folks, I tried to copy this excellent post by Don S just as he did it, but, come to find out, an administrative post does not have all the bells and whistles a regular post does, and I am unable to make it as complete as the original post. So, all I can say is print it out and follow the instructions. Hopefully, it will work for you. If not contact Don S via E-mail and I'm sure he will be glad to help you. You can use the original post as long as you look for it under Re: TBM Avenger Photo dated 3/10/08 at 10:58 p.m. It will eventually work its way off the first page but it will remain until it hits the bottom of the fifth page. I no longer delete messages. They're there until pushed off by the software.

Hi Bob,
Here is something I have been working on this evening. I hope it will be helpful. I have tested it on my computer, and I hope it will not cause any problems.
This post is a sort of short tutorial of the limited knowledge I have recently gained on posting images in messages. It is presented primarily for new users who would like to post an image but have run into problems. Experienced posters will be familiar with most of this. The preferred method is to use the HTML text produced by photobucket "as is", and just paste it into the message.
Method 1:
The following HTML was obtained from photobucket by clicking on the "HTML Link" located under the image you want to share. Photobucket copies the text into the clipboard on local computer, which can then be "pasted" into the message. In this HTML, the "img src" portion actually displays the image on the page, and the "href" portion loads a new image when you click on the image. Please notice the hand icon that is shown when you move the mouse cursor over the image.
HTML:
<a href="http://s262.photobucket.com/albums/ii107/mdmm/Warbirds/2006_Geneseo/?action=view¤t=P7093825.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i262.photobucket.com/albums/ii107/mdmm/Warbirds/2006_Geneseo/P7093825.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket">

Method 2:
I removed the "?action=view¤t=" and anything between the "<img src ... >, and replaced it with the text ... TBM Ida Red at the 2006 Geneseo Airshow. The result is an underlined text string the reader can click on to display the image. This helps those with lower bandwidth since they need not click on it if they feel there connection is too slow.
HTML:
<p align=left>Link: <a href="http://s262.photobucket.com/albums/ii107/mdmm/Warbirds/2006_Geneseo/P7093825.jpg" target="_blank">TBM Ida red at the 2006 Geneseo Airshow

Method 3:
Another way to display an image is to "embed" it in the message, without allowing the reader to click on it. In this case we use the "img src" portion of the original "HTML Link" text provided by photobucket. The HTML tag "img src" means that something called an "image source" will be loaded directly into the web page as its is being displayed. The image below was produced using this method.
HTML:
<img src="http://i262.photobucket.com/albums/ii107/mdmm/Warbirds/2006_Geneseo/P7093825.jpg">
