This is for anyone who may have trouble posting images here on the message board. This little tutorial was put together for folks who use Photobucket, but the basics would be the same for most any photo hosting service. Photobucket recently changed their interface a bit, and there are now four options for image posting and linking instead of the original three. Here are the default options currently offered... The highlighted option is the direct link to the image itself. Combined with the proper HTML code, this URL will display an image here on the message board. This is what the code for displaying an image here on the message board should look like: Put the image URL ('Direct Link' option on the photobucket page) between the quotes: And you get this... There is also a quicker and easier way to post an image... just copy and paste the code from the third option... 'HTML Tag'. This adds a link to the image which takes you to the Photobucket home page. Note that, while the previous images in this post are not clickable, the one below is clickable... You can change these options if you wish, and display only those that you'd like. Just click on 'Change Link Options' and select which options you'd like to display. You can change this anytime.
